Overview\Goals:
This session will teach participants to develop and use wikis. Participants will use tutorials and Internet resources to create a wiki and explore strategies to have students create and collaborate using wikis that will support state and district frameworks.

Objectives:
Upon completion of the session participants will:
· Create a wiki that supports, supplements, or extends a current or future lesson from district frameworks.
· Use tutorials to create wikis.
· Create lesson plans that use wikis as a teaching tool and/or a learning tool.
· Share teaching and learning products with whole group to demonstrate learning from this session.

10:15 – 10:30 – Break
10:30 – 11:00 – Present Wiki Uses and Discoveries
Participants will divide into groups to brainstorm ways to use wikis in the classroom. Groups should be divided by level, for example, elementary, middle level, and high school. This will allow participants to discuss issues that will affect their levels.
11:00 – 11:30 – Creating logons for a Wiki/Preparing Wiki Creation
